Responsible Gambling
Jexavoq does not offer gambling. This page is included because the guide discusses regulated land-based casinos and responsible travel planning.
Keep gambling in perspective
- Treat gambling as entertainment, not as a way to earn money.
- Set a firm spending limit before entering a casino and do not exceed it.
- Keep travel, accommodation, food and essential expenses separate from any gambling budget.
- Never chase losses or gamble with borrowed money.
- Take regular breaks and stop when gambling is no longer enjoyable.
- Do not gamble when distressed, intoxicated or under pressure from another person.
Age and identification
Canada does not have one nationwide casino-entry age. The legal age varies by province and territory and is generally 18 or 19. Casinos may require current government-issued photo identification. Confirm the venue's current rules before travelling.
